War Diary
Good day, bad day, terrible dayThe day began really nice. It was a cold and pleasant morning, I took one of my new long sleeve shirts and I fit myself pretty tidy. Melissa teased me saying that I was to handsome to go to the job.
Cold and pleasant morning. My duties today where really simple and it would take all day long to get done, so it would be a relaxing and easy Friday. I would be at home 6 pm easy easy. Lunch time with Carol in Bourbon was pretty nice too.
So, ten minutes before going home one of our team leaders showed up saying good bye. He was fired that afternoon, for a silly reason. I was not to close to him, but he is a nice guy and all (and sells me
Cacau Show's chocolates). And he is a great professional. He one of the people that knows most of the application we develop there, and he is a good leader. I'm sure that he will get great opportunities since he is a competent developer, but we will mourn this loss. Surely all the work will be harder. I left work with a heavy atmosphere behind me.
In a snap of fingers the good day had become a bad day.
So I got Melissa at her job and we had a dinner outside. I was still tidy and she was beautiful, so we had a nice date. Well, not a so bad day after all.
And I got home, and my mom told me about a relative of mine who is seriously ill.
Seriouly. And the bad day had become a terrible day.
I hope to dip my head in a bit of insanely-cool-chained-blade-action provided by God of War 2 and leave that behind for a few moments.

War Diary
Going back in timeI felt some kind of nostalgia this weekend. Started like a Friday night of five years ago, when I got into someone else's home with a dozen of friends, lots of booze, fun games and laughing. And eventually, someone ends up snuggling.
As it was my old routine, we went to the Rua da Praia Shopping and Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana. I've met very few familiar people, and when I realized that the "new generation" of otakus that replaced us were a bunch of morons, I felt a bit sad.
As it was my old routine, we went to Canoas to
Abel's home, play with G5. I was eager, EAGER to play G5 with those guys again. But we left the game early to visit Luisa back in Porto Alegre.
So, as it was my old routine, we spent Saturday night in someone else's home (and it didn't matter that it belonged to a stranger) with a dozen of friends, lots of booze, fun games and laughing. And eventually, someone ends up snuggling.
Even with all the fun playing
Imagem e Ação and watching
alpha's hair being dragged by the fan, I was pissed off by leaving the RPG game for behind.
(side note: I am still very, VERY pissed off, Abel)
Sunday morning, as it was usual in my old routine, we walked away for our homes. And the best part of it was going back to my current routine, and I spent the Sunday hugged on my sweetie =*
What I've learned from this weekend? The old times of #AnMg were good times, for sure. But those times will never come back. Ever.
So we have to make new and better memories. Like those in Guarda do Embaú and Formula Truck in Tarumã. I really feel that it is pretty easy, since I have never had so good and true friends as I have now.

"DO PODEEEEEEEEER" by Rocca SeniorI know that some of you became a bit disappointed because I leaved the forsake the RPG to watch the Formula Truck this weekend.
I hope that Jonathan Tweet forgive, but it was worth it =D
I could relate the long and exciting experience here, but Rocca Son
did that already.
What I have to add to his history is that I also had a lot of fun watching the races, drinking booze and eating barbecue. Rocca Senior and his friends are as crazy as we are, proving that we will stay the same clowns when get older =)
